Rules
1.) Before you enter, please read the PASB Approval Process and Breeding Guidelines in their entirety to familiarize yourself with the PASB Approval program.
2.) Breeders may submit up to 3 purebred Arabian stallions.
3.) Submitted stallions may be any type of Arabian except Polish. This event is to approve non-Polish stallions for the PASB. Half-Polish stallions (i.e. Polish x Egyptian; Polish x Spanish; etc.) do qualify and can be submitted for PASB approval. Polish, Russian and Polish x Russian are NOT accepted for this event.
4.) Submitted stallions need to meet the rigorous progeny and show record requirements below. If you have questions about these requirements, please contact Amanda on the HF boards.
A. PROVEN PROGENY REQUIREMENT:
Submitted stallions must have at least three proven progeny on the ground. "Proven" in this case is defined as a foal with either or both of the following:
1.) Champion status as defined by HF show points (500+) and/or Legion of Honor Status (+) as defined by the HFAHA (150+ HFAHA points)
2.) Legion of Supreme Honor As Defined by the AHAC(In All-sim) 500-649+/. Since some stallions here in HF may have offspring in all-sim, I have decided to allow for offspring that show at the AHAC to be added to the Proven Progeny List.
3.) The progeny must have two foals on the ground that meet the Champion and/or Legion of Honor Status. This alternate qualification is so that successful broodmares and/or studs sired by the submitted stallion that do not compete due to whatever circumstance are still eligible as "Proven Progeny."
B. PROVEN SHOW CAREER REQUIREMENT:
Submitted stallions are considered proven in their competition careers if they have either or both of the following:
State Champion status as defined by HF show points (1750+);
AND/OR
Legion of Supreme Honor Status (+/) as defined by the HFAHA (300+ HFAHA points).
This means that a stallion can have 2000 HF points and only 30 HFAHA points and still be submitted. Vice versa, the stallion can have 350 HFAHA points and only 1500 HF points and still be submitted.
EXCEPTION TO REQUIREMENT B: The exception to these requirements is if a stallion has the following accolades (then he is exempt from the points requirements):
At least 3 HFAHA National Championships (this includes Canadian and U.S. Nationals);
At least 1 World Championship (Salon du Cheval).
C. IDENTIFIABLE BLOODLINES:
Submitted stallions must have identifiable lineage back at least three generations. Lineage can be sim or real, as long as it exists and is identifiable for at least three generations.
5.) Submitting a stallion is not a guarantee of PASB approval.
6.) Stallions who earn their place in the PASB will receive 100 HF points and 25 HFAHA points.
